Wailuku Single Family Homestead

The Wailuku Single Family Residential Homestead project is planned to have approximately 173 single family turn-key homes and 31 owner-builder lots for the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) beneficiaries. 

Preliminary planning and subdivision work is underway, and an environmental assessment was completed. Provided all entitlements and regulatory approvals are obtained, Dowling Company, Inc. anticipates that infrastructure construction for the approximately 77-acre project will commence in 2026. Delivery of the first homes will begin in early 2029 with an estimated completion in 2031. DHHL is providing approximately $45 million of funding for the acquisition of land and construction of the project infrastructure.
