Waiehu Mauka Homestead

The Waiehu Mauka Homestead project will be comprised of approximately 343 single family turn-key homes and owner-builder lots, and an additional 55 rural half acre lots for the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) beneficiaries. 

Onsite and offsite infrastructure design work is underway and assuming all regulatory approvals are obtained, onsite and offsite construction for the project is expected to begin in late 2027. Dowling Company, Inc. anticipates the delivery of the first homes to occur in 2030 with estimated completion in 2033. DHHL is providing approximately $95 million of funding for acquisition of land and construction of the project infrastructure.
