Hālau of ‘Ōiwi Art

Located at the heart of Wailuku, at the corner of Church and Vineyard Streets, this two-story, approximately 47,000-square-foot space will be a welcoming hub for the community.  

Hālau of ‘Ōiwi Art will offer a home for hālau hula to gather, along with classrooms, event spaces both indoors and outdoors, and areas dedicated to cultural connection and celebration. The project is currently underway, with anticipated completion in April 2027. Dowling Company is serving in a construction management capacity for the County of Maui.
