On June 15, 2024, the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands offered 52 turnkey homes as part of the Puʻuhona Homestead, Phase 1 Lot Offering.
Watch the highlights of this incredible and monumental day. Dowling Company and DHHL have been working together for over 5 years to deliver this homestead project to the beneficiaries of Maui. We look forward to handing over keys to the new homeowners and welcoming them to the Pu‘uhona Homestead community.
Located in Waikapū, Puʻuhona Homestead is Maui’s first turnkey residential project in 17 years, and the department’s first project funded by Act 279, $600 million appropriated to DHHL with the intent to reduce the beneficiary waiting list.
